Pre-Wedding Shoot with Jo and Dan - Hinchingbrooke Country Park
I loved doing this shoot! Jo and Dan's wedding is coming up in June this year so last weekend, we headed over to Hinchingbrooke Country Park for a couple of hours chatting and shooting - in great weather! (thankfully we postponed from the week before due to wind and rain!)
We started off by taking a walk down through the tree-lined paths towards the main lake, passing over the footbridges on the way where we could. I probably should have added some danger-money for this shoot due to a swan not particularly liking me lying down very close to him near the lake - I stood my ground while getting hissed at and got some lovely silhouette shots. With this and the number of wet dogs that got a bit too close for my liking, it nearly became a wildlife shoot instead!
We then took a stroll along the edge of the lake, taking the opportunity for shots in the reeds, on park benches and in a wooden shelter while shooting out over the lake.
After some shots on another pontoon and over a picturesque brick bridge, we parted company and headed home.
I now can't wait for their wedding at the Granary Estates in a couple of months!
Hope you enjoy looking through the selection here...
